At a "Promises of the Steps" retreat I
attended last year, it seemed only one woman was really
prepared for the meetings that were a part of this special
weekend. Kitty O. had a purple canvas zippered bag for her
Big Book, Twelve and Twelve, Little Big Book Dictionary,
highlighter, and other "meeting stuff". I was actually
impressed because Kitty had all of her things in readiness and
was so "together".
I asked her where she got
the carrying case. Kitty told me it was actually a Bible bag
she was using. When I returned home from the retreat,
I shopped the local- and online-Christian stores for the
best cases I could find. I got one for me and one for my
best friend.
People in meetings started asking us where
they could get a case for their stuff too. Almost
effortlessly (really!) I bought a huge supply of the "most
popular" ones to sell to others, decided MeetingMakers were a
